podcast-badgeMichael Dolan joins Eddie for a chat immediately after the 1-1 draw against Udinese. They discuss the team performance and that of the individuals selected to play. They review some of the interesting decisions made by the ref and have a difference of opinion over the penalty awarded in the final ten minutes of the match. Next they discuss the recent protest by the Green Brigade regarding the legislation currently making its way through the Scottish parliament. The need for this legislation is discussed and the potential impact upon football in Scotland should it be introduced. Finally they look ahead to the match at Tynecastle and try to second guess just how many fans will be lifted by  an over eager police force.

Your cooments regarding the penalty are completely different to mine.

My view is how were Chelsea denied a penalty against Valencia yet Udinese were awarded a penalty against Celtic?

How can UEFA reconcile these two decisions?

"Penalty" was nothing more than an indirect free kick at most. Yes there was contact but minimal and ref should have taken into account their player was looking for the pen.

Another good podcast Eddie, nice one. Spot on also regarding the "Offensive Behaviour" Bill. This SNP government are guilty of a shocking misuse of power with this as well as Slamond showing himself to be nothing more than a populist leader. It's quite worrying to be honest that they are pushing harder to get this through without stopping to talk more about the effects it will have both on the attendances and the game itself. Maybe it's time for people like Lawwell to fins their voice on this!
