podcast-badgeMichael Dolan joins Eddie this week and together they take a look back at the preseason victory over Perth Glory. They discuss the performance of the team and the merits of certain individuals in the squad. Next they discuss the arrival of Victor Wanyama and whether his arrival means that a midfielder will be leaving. Jay Boothroyd's decision to join QPR is also discussed and Eddie discusses a rumour regarding potential tax breaks for players designed to rejuvenate the game in Scotland. It's pronounced Lowvens people, and not Loovens! Is there no one at CP asks these guys how to pronounce their names CORRECTLY?

Cringeworthy after three years with Celtic.

Later edit.

I haven't an inkling wrt the Croation language, but I'd imagine the goalie's name is pronounced Steepy, and certainly not Stipe as in the REM singer. This based on the vowel sounds in mainland Europe, as compared to Britland.

Ah, eh, ee, oh, ooh

A, E, I, O, U.

Formatting will likely look like a pigs arse, but hey ho. That's the bell, class dismissed.

Anyone like to comment on Wanyama and his time on the park at Cardiff? Why would he be put in the midfield, when all the talk from Lennoxtown is that he'll be slotted in at cb?

Me, I think it's nothing more than a deflectory tactic, and he'll play his part in midfield, as a replacement for someone leaving.
