Mark Cameron from The John Thomson Memorial Committee joins Eddie for this week's edition of the podcast and together they discuss the work of the committee. They talk of the football tournament which is held each year in honour of the Celtic keeper and the impact it has upon the local community. They then discuss the special events surrounding the 80th anniversary of the death of John. Mark tells us of the charity pilgimage which has been arranged in collaboration with the Celtic Graves Society and explains how to get involved. Before this they discuss Mark's favourite player and just how good it was to be alive in the summer of 1988. Finally they talk a look ahead to the start of the football season with no little sense of anticipation.
