Over the border in the fantasy land of the EPL, this week’s Paddy Power Weekend Bulletin looks at the form of the big teams after last week’s universal slip up as well as the big match between Chelsea and Arsenal.
After Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Spurs all failed to win last week, specials include how many of the ‘Big Six’ will lose this week as well as which of the highest placed teams in the current top eight will lose. And from nine unbeaten teams a week ago just four clubs remain undefeated. Paddy Power bet on the last team to lose in the league this season.
In the Chelsea v Arsenal showdown Paddy Power focus on Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. With 12 goals in 11 games against the Gunners, Drogba will be lining up against one of his favourite teams and Paddy Power bet on how many goals Drogba scores and how long it takes him to find the back of the net.
With two of the league’s top scoring teams so far this season going head-to-head Paddy Power also bet on how many goals there will be in the game and, should it be a case of ‘Cham-pagne football’ Paddy Power will refund losing first/last goalscorer, correct score & scorecast singles on the game if Marouane Chamakh scores the last goal.
PADDY POWER MONEY-BACK SPECIAL
Chelsea v Arsenal – Cham-pagne Football If Chamakh scores the last goal of the match Paddy Power will refund losing first/last goalscorer, correct score & scorecast singles on the game.
SPL
Celtic v Hamilton
With all of this info, I’m going for 4 – 0 AND Celtic to open the scoring around up to and including 20th minute at 10/11
Hearts V Rangers It will be interesting to see how things go at the early kick off on Saturday. Rangers play very deep to protect old man Weir so offside should not be an issue for the Jambos strike force. Conversely, Hearts play a high line (as demonstrated at Celtic Park). Could Kenny Miller be a good bet for a goal?
Other Weekend Bets
Premier League 5-6 Chelsea; 9-4 Man Utd; 8 Arsenal, Man City; 66 Liverpool; 100 Spurs
Relegation 4-11 Blackpool, 5-6 Wigan; 6-4 West Ham; 15-8 Wolves; 11-4 West Brom; 4 Newcastle; 5 Stoke; 11-2 Bolton
With Man City the only team amongst the big six to win last weekend will this week throw up yet more surprises or will normal service be resumed?
Last team to lose in England this season 1/2 Man Utd 3/1 QPR 6/1 Fulham 8/1 Colchester
How many of the Big Six will lose this weekend 11/2 None 10/11 One 19/10 Two 9/1 Three 66/1 Four or more (Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Spurs)
With 12 goals in 11 games against the Gunners, Didier Drogba will be lining up against one of his favourite teams on Sunday. It’s almost a question of not if he scores against Arsenal but when…
How many goals will Drogba score 4/6 None 7/4 One 8/1 Two 18/1 Three or more
How long will it take Drogba to score 8/1 0-15 mins 8/1 16-30 9/1 31-HT 10/1 45-60 10/1 61-75 11/1 76-FT 4/6 Not to score
So once again on Saturday I’ll go along to Celtic Park ready for the show. As each week goes by we’re looking more the part. Win our next three games and we will be the real mccoy.

I really felt like turning back to Central Stn and getting the train back home to Nnewcastle.
The appalling turnout from Celtic fans and our performance did not help my mood.
I cant help feeling that this season is shaping up for a rerun of the Tommy Burns season.
We must defeat Dundee Utd and beat the huns on 24th Oct as we will face a tougher fixture list in the second round of league games with us facing Huns,Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen all away.
In the space of 5 football minutes two correct scores were gone. Rangers making it 2-1 and Hamilton making it 1-0. As for the poor turnout.. We don't need the part-timers who then go on the net to whinge about no star names to make then go.
We have our best start since 2003. They're just looking for an excuse to not admit what they really are - Glory hunters!
They'll all be there on Oct 24th
may i be allowed to voice my opinion?
have you heard the green brigade ? they
are a breath of fresh air to celtic park
and while the world is wondering what gers do
the real deal is what lenny does
This team is still a work in process and, far from being unbeaten, the two results away from home in Europe showed us up badly. These results combined with some less than convincing results in the league have meant that the current mood remains lukewarm instead of thunderous.
My own personal view is we're getting there but:
A) the defence is STILL shite. Loovens is never a centre half as long as ive got a hole in my arse. Big Dan is as slow as a carthouse and not quite the hunskelper many of us envisaged him to be.
C) the midfield is now a puzzle wrapped in a riddle. What is our best line up? Who are our best midfielders? And dont even start me on Brown...
We lack too much steel for my liking a la early MON days. There's potential though, thats plain to see.
that we are unbeaten thus far.hes had to do in three short months what the cardigan has done in what seems like an eternity this celtic team will prove to be the real deal
get yer money on it. real neil
Defence - VERY unreliable. Our centre backs are bomb scares - what wouldnt you give for the solidity and steel of the (early!) MON days? Dan and Glenda do not inspire me at all. Thank god for big fraser.
Midfield - again, issues arise because we've yet to see lennys preferred line up. Unfortunately this looks as if it will include Brown. Its not coincidence that we play better and look better without him in the team.
Forwards - do we have a 20 goal a season man? Early days yet. the last one we did have we sold to middlesbrough! Stokes and Hooper have vibrancy but Im yet to be convinced the have the consistency to be a success. Like I said though, early days.
Bear in mind as well, we havent actually played any 'decent' teams yet. The huns game is fast coming up and be warned friends this is a game that we need to win and will have fight extremely hard to get anything from (for a variety of reasons if you know what i mean and i think you do...).
